Happy Trails

Move 'em on, head 'em up, Head 'em up, move 'em out, Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!

We kept a pretty brisk pace for most of the summer, so it was a welcome break to mosey on down a dusty trail with Kerri's family.

Casey loves horses, or at least the idea of horses (see Pony Party). But when she came face-to-knee with the one she was supposed to ride, she needed some encouragement before she would actually get in the saddle.

When it was Sophie's turn to mount up with Kerri, we discovered she had decided to sit this one out, and had retreated to a bench at a safe distance from the action. After we dangled a carrot she joined in, and in the end everyone had great time making memories with the cousins that will last...until we meet again.
