It’s Catching

When Jason was asked to lead our church’s missions team, we decided that the most important step was making sure that the team had caught the vision of God’s mission. That way, they will be motivated to share it with the rest of the church.

One just returned from a short-term trip where she was trained in cross-cultural evangelism and participated in projects with others from Eastern Europe. She is now ministering to international students at her university here in Kiev.

Another member has just been accepted into a year-long project and has just begun raising support.

A third is preparing for vision trip to investigate a long-term commitment among an unreached people.

We’ll give you more details about their stories as their plans come together, but we wanted to share with you how God is already at work. Since one of our main ministry goals is training Ukrainians to catch the vision of God’s mission, we are thrilled. The only hitch is that our church missions team may soon be dwindling…but even that is a healthy sign.
